25-30 pounds to lose in 30 days safely [16th birthday] [exercises]
I heard about this in a magazine, but I need something that will work. Even some really tough drills, something I can get started right away! My 16th birthday is only 30 days to go . I need help . Please. Im desperate.

Reply:Hi, I've just started slim fast while on depo still (waiting for it to wear off) will I still be able to loose about 20 pounds while i wait for the depo to wear off which'll take about 2 months.
P.s. I'm 180 and trying to get down to 120 (the weight I used to be about an year and a half ago) in 6 months, can I do it with slim fast?
With just walking 30 minutes a day 4 times a week is it possible to reach my goal on slim fast?

I can understand your situation because I used to be one of those girls who would do anything to look good in her birthday
I could suggest you to try with the cabbagge soup and whole diet plan, but just try for 1 week, add exercise and you will feel good, after that week you can lose up to 8kg if you really stick to it and do some exercise, I did it before and it really worked for me.

The Cabbage Soup Recipe & Diet
The cabbage soup can be eaten at any time you feel hungry during the day, and you can eat as much as you wish as often as you like.
Ingredients:
6 Large Green Onions
2 Green Peppers
1-2 Cans Diced Tomatoes
1 Bunch Celery
1 Package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1-2 Cubes of Buillion (if desired)
1 head cabbage
Cut vegetables into small pieces and cover with water. (V-8 juice and water can be used). Boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce to simmer and continue cooking until vegetables are tender. Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, etc. EAT AS MUCH AS YOU WANT WHENEVER YOU WANT ANY TIME OF THE DAY.
Diet Plan:
Day 1: FRUITS
Fruit: Eat all of the fruit you want (EXCEPT BANANAS). Eat only your soup and the fruit for the first day. For drinks- unsweetened teas, cranberry juice and water.
Day 2: VEGETABLES
Vegetables: Eat until you are stuffed will all fresh, raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. Try to eat leafy green vegetables and stay away from dry beans, peas and corn. Eat all the vegetables you want along with your soup. At dinner, reward yourself with a big baked potato with butter. Do not eat fruit today.
Day 3: (Day 1 + 2)
Mix Days One and Two: Eat all the soup, fruits and vegetables you want. NO BAKED POTATO.
Day 4: (Bananas and Milk)
Bananas and Skim Milk: Eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day, along with your soup. This day is supposed to lessen your desire for sweets.
Day 5 Meat & tomatoes
Beef And Tomatos: Ten to twenty ounces of beef and up to six fresh tomtoes. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water this day to wash the uric acid from your body. Eat your soup at least once this day. You may eat broiled or baked chicken instead of beef (but absolutely no skin-on chicken). If you prefer, you can substitute broiled fish for the beef one one of the beef days (but not both).
Day 6 Meat and vegetables
Beef and Vegetables: Eat to your heart's content of beef and vegetables this day. You can even have 2 or 3 steaks if you like, with leafy green vegetables. NO BAKED POTATO. Eat your soup at least once.
Day 7 Brown rice & vegetables
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables: Again STUFF,STUFF,STUFF yourself. Be sure to eat your soup at least once this day.

Oh yeah! Someone gave me a card after I had my daughter that had a picture of a baby with a vicious smile on the front and the inside said "So I hear you've got a new boss." I kept it cause it is so true.
Kids are great and I wouldn't have it any other way but yeah they rule with and iron rattle.

FYI: I started with Slim Fast then moved to the south beach diet. I excersize 3 to 5 times a week. Drink lots of water and try and get 8 hours of sleep whenever baby will let me.

Do NOT let this deter you from setting and reaching some fitness and health goals! I started a diet and excersize program in january and have now lost a total of 22 pounds and have never felt better! And the time has just flown by. Trust me in 3 or 4 months you could be feeling a world better.

Reply:I have always been told from fitness experts that it is physically impossible to lose more than 2 lbs of fat per week. Anything more than 2 lbs is acutally muscle loss. And the main point of going on a diet is to lose fat not muscle.
I even read about that all the weightloss products that make these claims of loose x amount of pounds in x amount of days are all false promises.
The 2 above posters are giving you good advice.
Reply:Agree with the other poster. I hate to tell you this cause I know how you must feel but there are no quick fixes. The most you could safely loose in 30 days I'd say would be around 10 to 15 depending on your gender and how much you need to loose total.
I would recommend you first take a deap breath and accept the fact that you're not going to be 30 pounds thiner in a month. BUT that you could be a heck of a lot healthier by then and on the right road to loosing the weight you want to by your 17th birthday. Then I would suggest you start looking at diets that would best suit you. Something you can live with and not feel deprived. Then start thinking about an excersize plans. Either join a gym or get some tapes (I recommend the Firm tapes). Or start just going for walks and jogging. Whatever you can stick with. Start out slow. You can not loose all your weight by trying to work out for 3 hours a day every day. Sorry but it's not possible. All you'll do if you do this is hurt yourself.
I wish I could tell you what you'd like to hear but the harsh truth of reality is that nothing worth having comes easy. If there was some quick way to loose that much weight safely don't you think everyone would be doing it?

Reply:You cannot lose 25-30 lbs safely in 30 days unless you undergo surgery. For your own health, if you genuinely need to lose 30 lbs, start losing it now and work towards you 17th birthday. Hate to be brutally honest, but you can't be good for a month and expect to undo what you have done in the previous 11 months.
