Reply:Thanks for the replies. I do measure myself about once a month, and I am not losing inches either. I mean, I lost some (I'm assuming during the time I lost the 7lbs) but not since then. I'm going to really try to cut out the soda.
guy, what kind of program is this? Is it the type where you only eat certain types of foods together? I've been on a program like that before, and I just could not keep it up. One thing I hate is being restricted to a diet–I'd rather just do the "healthy eating" thing, but let me know what kind of program it is anyway, okay?
Again, thanks for the replies, and others are still welcome!

Reply:I lost 10 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks doing Michael Thurmonds 6 week body makeover, and I cheated 2 x a week. I went from 126 to 115 and I only flucuate a pound or two. When I gain a little I go back on the diet for 3 days and I'm back to 115. I did not workout at all either. I want to lose 10 more before summer so I am going to start the diet again with weight training and cardio. I would recommend ebay to find the program or hsn has a payment plan….it works if you follow it. I am 5 feet tall and when you're short every pound counts. Hope this helps.

Reply:Um…lay off the soda, I think. That's a *huge* no-no b/c it's FULL of sugar that causes all sorts of weird insulin spikes in your bloodstream, followed by these lethargic moments that probably make you tired at some point during the day.
My stats are similar to yours, and I've noticed that to get rid of a plateau, I have to a)change what I'm eating (and I mean, cut out *all* junk), or b)change up my routine and up the ante on its intensity. Admittedly, I have been at a plateau for 3 months now, and I haven't found the gusto to get anal about my eating or about changing up my routine too much.
The other thing is, are you gaining muscle? That will also affect your *size* (do measurements to know for sure) but not your weight. HIIT is a fat-burning cardio method that, as far as I understand, helps maintain muscle mass. I was on HIIT and didn't lose an ounce, but I know I toned up significantly (esp in my abs) at that time.
Anyway, those are just some things to consider. Good luck w/the next 7 weeks! :bouncing:
