Am I right? [fructose corn syrup] [high fructose corn syrup]
I do not have a serious weight problem, but I would like about 7-10 pounds weight loss, while lowering my cholesterol and blood pressure a bit. I am 6 ft, 183 pounds (on a light frame), but a better feeling about 173, mostly because Im still recovering from foot surgery and would rather like to stay light on my feet as possible.
The important thing Ive done is cut out most starchy and sweet things in general, potatoes, bread and high-fructose corn syrup junk in particular. I try to take my carbs in the form of vegetables and beans. Most of my meat intake is fish, fish, and I alternate days with soy days. I will not back down now and then a lean steak.
Since I stopped keeping soda in my fridge I drink water, tea, coffee and cranberry juice instead. I was allowing myself to up to two martinis a day, because I had read that moderate drinking was not found to influence weight, but I am willing to quit the habit. I have no vices that I know.: Angel:
Getting more exercise is a bit difficult for me because my foot kind of limits what I can do. Soon I am moving to an apartment complex with a gym and Ill get to work on the exercise bike.
I m not counting calories, because I do not get so obsessed with thinking about food that I develop an entirely new problem. But I remain fairly modest in size meals and snack ever (apart from juice) after dinner.
What else can I do to myself in order to get?
