Reply:I think it's a great workout! I have knee problems so I sometimes only use one part of the fanny lifter for the leg exercises; the blue segment mostly. I still get the same benefit even though I'm not using a 14 inch step. The series can get expensive; I agree.

Reply:I have a few of them from years before. They are really good tapes. I use a normal step instead of the fanny lifter but I bet the fanny lifter would be even more challenging. I think its too expensive for the newer sets so I've looked on ebay and other sites and gotten older Firm tapes. Love all that I have though. Good luck!
