feeding center anyone? [herbal majic] [nutrition center]

Hello

I just went that a for a meeting with someone about my weight loss. Has anyone else done this? Well, I was told to stay slim fast because of all the sugar, and I got other protien shakes to take with a engery bar. I only hope that no marketing sceme and I need to get good results. Here is what my day consists of. Tell me what you all think

Im September 5 145

Morning I drink a great protien shake

Snack me a cup of fruit with one of the messages biscut Ceriale milk

lunch I skimmed with an energy bar

supper some form of Lean Mean with any sort of vegie food until I m pretty happy

Please . give me your input

Youre a guy, 5'9 and only weigh 145? And you WANT TO LOSE MORE WEIGHT?

2-3 pounds a week is pretty darn drastic. Especially when you are so thin to begin with.

Whatever floats your boat, boi.


Reply:Hello no theirs no typo. Actually by following this method i am only going to loose 2 to 3 pounds a week. ANd i will only do this for 2 weeks and then go str8 onto the summerizing food combining diet. The nutrionist told me that it sounded like a good plan. The reason why i may looose up to 3 pounds a week at such a low weight already is because im young and male. But even if its 2 pounds a week im fine with that!

Reply:Did I misread your stats? Are you 5'9 and 145?

If so, you do not need to do anything as drastic as replacing your meals with protein shakes and bars on a regular basis. You will not learn a long term, healthy way of eating if you continue to do this.

What you will do is lose some weight, quit the shakes and bars, gain the weight back plus 5 pounds, and start a vicious cycle.

It sounds more like you need to tone up. Eat a sensible diet with reasonable portions, watch your fat intake, and exercise. No quick fix will give you long term results.

Unless I read your stats wrong. I am 5'7, 142 and have just a bit more to lose. I do still have a poochy belly and thigh fat. Dieting in the extreme will not fix those problems. Exercise will help to an extent.

Please let me know if perhaps there was a typo.
