Fructose and high fructose corn syrup [fructose corn syrup] [high fructose corn]

What is the difference between fructose and high . I know that fructose or fruit surgar has virtually no impact on blood sugar, HFCS is the same. Fructose also takes longer for our bodies and then using sucrose or glucose, HFCS is the same. How are the same or different?

They can say High Cause it contains more than 40 percent fructose… in reality it should be called half .

Most HFCS contain about 50 percent actual fructose. The other 50 percent may be glucose or sucrose, or even maltose which has a glycemic index of 110! Thats almost like taking a bag of sugar intervenously!

    I really don’t understand you guys… yes there is an economic argument for producing other crops rather than corn for the USA market.

    But this display of chemical and biological ignorance is astounding. Who ever answered this should be back behind the cashiers till and told to shut up! Please, if you just parrot what somebody else says, do it in private.

    You are comparing a number of sugars that are not the same and making inference on sucrose and the HFCS product.

    If you do not exercise enough to use up your calorific intake or do not pay attention and eat many calories you will get fat and risk getting western life style diseases.

    You can’t blame one product for that.

    I think I see the real problem here. Most people are too lazy to cook themselves or learn to prepare great food (it doesnt take long guys).

    Stop blithering about a single product and get them looking at nutritious foods that taste great… its easy.. wear a no pre prepared set of glasses for life. Cook it your self, take responsibility of your big gut and fat arses.. do it for you. Not mr supermarket or mrs fast food.

    PS Your stoichiometric metaphor is terrible, please see someone who can add.
