Heavier than ever before [food plan] [healthy food]

Im so disappointed in myself. I had lost 30 pounds four years ago by exercising and watching what I ate. I kept it off for about 3 years. I had stopped the practice of going, because through a divorce and a subsequent bad relationship (we can say rebound?) Used food to me to comfort and have now gained 40 pounds.

This was the heaviest I have ever been pregnant. I failed to get the motivation to maintain a healthy eating plan or to exercise his. I look at myself and disgusted. Im 51 “and weigh 160 pounds.

Where should I start? Here Ive been lurking and it seems to help me at least start to get motivated.

Any suggestions helpful.

Reply:Hey Donna, I have gained that much weight as well (I'm 5'6", and 189 today). There's practically no motivation right at the beginning because sometimes it feels so insurmountable! You just have to start, and get support, and although cliche, take it one day at a time. I also go on the 3fatchicks web site, and it helps me a lot when I just want to not bother! You can do it, but you do have to start. A month from now will be a month from now whether you do anything or not! It is a lot better to be able to look back on where you started, than to wish you would have. Easier said than done, I know, otherwise I would have started losing this weight 20 pounds ago!!!!
