How do you count calories |? [how to count calories] [food packages]
Can anyone tell me how to count calories . Ok if you read the label on food packages you count calories or fat calories? I am confused?
Reply:The fat calories number tells you how many of the total number of calories come from fat. But they are included in the total calorie count. Remember also to look at serving sizes. If the serving size is 1/2 cup and you eat 1 cup, you need to count twice the calories.
Reply:Just the "calories"
The "calories" show all the calories concealed in 1 serv of food you eat, the "fat calories" are included in this number.
Reply:OK, so do you count both the "calories" and the "fat calories"? What is it I should be adding up?
Reply:You should count the "calories" (total calories per serving), not just the "fat calories".
The carbs, protein (and alcohol) in the food you eat contain calories (energy) as well.
