How do you diet when you're sick? [peanut butter sandwiches] [fruits and vegetables]
If Im sick, all I want is hot tea and biscuits . lots of biscuits!
Normally, I eat well, lots of fruits and vegetables, lean meats, whole grains. But if I am ill, its one week of cookies, peanut butter sandwiches and anything with tomato sauce – pizza, spaghetti, lasagna. I have children in school so that I can count on getting a bug every few months, and frankly, my “hormonal days” are not much better. Needless to say, playing havoc with my diet. I usually have no problem eating 1500 calories a day and lose about one pound per week. But if I feel miserable, the scale starts creeping in the opposite direction.
Any advice?
