Reply:thanks so much guys! the advice is helping. im on day 4 of my diet and exercise program and i think its helping… i havent stepped onto a scale but plan to on sunday to record my results or lack of it! haha.
jorpey'smom: its nice to know i am in the same boat as someone else. i feel alone about this because all of my friends, cousins, and even my boyfriend are really skinny. let me tell you though, i really do love my richard simmons tapes. i feel very silly doing them but thats what keeps them fun. plus he is constantly telling you "you can do it!" and "you'll look good in no time!" really positive stuff. it really does make me feel like i could do it and thats great for my self esteem. seeing the overweight and fit people doing the moves really motivates me. if a 300lb woman can do them so can i!
hope all is going well with everyones weight loss mission. im here for you all if you need some motivation!

Reply:Hello guy,
I know how you feel. I am a little older than you but I once weighed 115 pds and now 147. I want to lose about 15 to 20 pds. It is hard to lose. I have lost some, but still have a ways to go. I cut back on my fatty foods, exercise, and try to drink lots of water. I need a little boost. If you have any ideas let me know and I will do the same for you. Good Luck!!!! I love this website it has really helped me.
Reply:welcome to the board!~
Reply:guy – sounds like a real plan. Just let me tell you that 145 pounds sounds pretty good to me now, although it didn't when I was your age. Good luck to you!
Reply:Hi there,
Keep up the crdio and add some weights to you routine, building muscle ups your metabolism. Also watch your carb intake no sugar or refined flour. Also caffeine and salt can raise your insulin levels. So I suggest lots of water (more than 64oz a day), cardio , weights and low carb..good luck! you have plenty of time!
