Just a bit of support [good vibes] [soda]
Im ready to go to the gym and try to cut down on my soda drinking so was hopeing for some good vibes from everyone thanks
Reply:Instead of trying,I cut out soda completely. I was drinking up to a 6 pack a day of Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew. I now only drink water ,1% milk and fruit juice. Mind you that I work in a grocery store and pass the soda cases at least 20 times a day and have been able to do it so I KNOW that you will be able to too. Good luck
Reply:the more time at the gym, the fitter you get , and the less you will carve soda and caffiene and you will let it go and drink water more instead…
good luck…
Reply:I'm trying to cut back on the soda too ..trying being the key word
Reply:Try babysteps….if you totally cut off you might get terrible headaches due to the fact that your body is soooo use to the caffeine. I'm not a big fan of diet soda, but you didn't mention if it was diet or regular that you drink excessively. Maybe by switching to diet first and then definitely cut out. Drink lots of water. Green tea is good too so your caffeine could come from the green tea. Worth a shot….
If you are just getting started and can afford it, I highly recommend getting a trainer. I did and it has helped out a lot. If you can't afford one, once you start going, sign up for a group class and meet people. You might find a work out partner. That will make going to the gym fun and you can both help each other get motivated. Good Luck!
Reply:well i drink an excessive amount of soda and i know that i am addicted to the caffene in it. i have always been better off telling myself to try to cut back instead of telling myself to deffenitly cut back. it worked very well with my salt intake i used to use a lot of salt but now i use little or no salt at all so this is just the method that works best for me this has only been about a month ago with the salt and i haven't faltered and have no intentions to since i think my food taste better without it. so that is why i am sticking with the try
Reply:What does "TRY to cut down on soda" mean? In the words of the great Master Yoda, do or do not, there is no try
