Reply:Hi, You were asking where to get healthy foods….Do you have a Whole Foods store or Trader Joes near you? If so, go there. If not (like me) your grocery store will have a health food section. Mine even does and I am what some might consider "in the country". All grocery stores have fresh fruit and veggies (if you can, try and buy organic).
You asked about good fats and besides what was mentioned above…Olive oil is a good fat too. Stay far far away from anything that has "Trans Fat" in it. You are going to have to start reading labels. You will get used to it, and then it becomes like second nature. Good Luck!!!!

Dried beans and Pasta seem to fill the bill best…also rice.
what fat is good for you and whats not?
Very broadly speaking, vegetable and fish oils are far better for you than animal fats.

The answer is to not buy processed foods. When you buy processed foods, be sure to read the nutritional labels very carefully. You can find some good products, but they are few and far in between.
Fresh veggies, lean meats, whole grains, fruits and nuts are what you are looking for. Regarding the low fat, just be careful that you eat enough good fats everyday.
A good rule to follow is to shop primarily on the outer aisles of your grocery store. Everything kept in the inner aisle are typically not products you want to buy if you are eating a really "clean" diet.
