Looking for a little support [vigilent] [time in my life]


Reply:Thanks for taking the time to write Sammy. I like your chicken idea a lot – it never occurred to me to use tenders as a small snack – great protein boost for little calories and fat.

Yesterday, I bought a couple of new healthy cooking magazines, and took out my Weight Watchers cook books to start getting some new ideas. I need to get back on track for myself and for my husband (who needs this more than I). He will never do anything about his weight unless I push him into it LOL (tho he does appreciate me doing so enormously).

The last couple of days have been quite good for me – I really started paying much better attention to what I'm doing. Today I really started on the right foot – nonfat greek yogurt, some dried fruit and lowfat granola sprinkled in, with a small glass of OJ and a nonfat latte (lots of calcium!). That should really keep me going until lunch. It's one of my favorite breakfasts.

Thanks again – I really needed to vent to myself I think, and it does feel good to have someone telling you not to beat yourself up over it. I know from past experience that being angry with yourself is only a self-defeating behavior and only serves to keep you stuck instead of moving forward. Thanks for pointing it out to me once more :-)
