more info on the pedometer? [pedometer] [money]
Does anyone know how pedometer work? I considered getting one since I work in a casino, I was curious to know how much I walk every night, but I do not want to waste money. Has anyone used one? If so, what was your experience?
Reply:You must be sure to measure your stride length and input it correctly into the pedometer or you won't get an accurate reading! I have a Bally's total fitness pedometer. I don't use it too often except for maybe the alarm clock part of it when I travel! I have been thinking of wearing it again–just to see how much I'm moving. The only thing is when I clip it to my waist; it's so easy to lean up against something and then clear the whole thing!

Reply:it was a digital and it wasn't a cheapie! she ordered it out of a cabela's or pro bass catalog? it was one of them outdoors catalogs……Mtn.
Reply:I used one. It was an El Cheapo brand, around $10… it did not work AT ALL. Maybe I should have invested more money… but it was WAY off. I would go for my walks and then "drive it" and it was WAY WAY off. Not the worst $10 I ever spent, but close to it. Don't buy a cheap one
