My body fat% and nighttime cravings [calipers] [cravings]

Hello! Many of you have read my frustration recently in the weight department, mainly due to motivation.

I have a few questions about it:
1. I had my body fat tested using (probably pretty accurate) – was 18.6%. The trainer said it was excellent, but I still “feel” too fat. Im 55 “and weigh 133.
2. After dinner, I always want to eat. I feel real hunger, I think or maybe its just a desire. Anyway, any suggestions on how this problem ?

I am 5'5" and would love to be 133. I am at 155 and my body fat was a whopping 35%!!! I was shocked!! So I have alot to go!!
Are you eating alot of protein? Protein at dinner will definately fill you up. As well, what time is your dinner? If it is too early have a light snack again at 7pm or so. I think the standard for timing is 3 hours before you go to bed you should stop eating. So that time will different for all and not necessarily stoping at dinner. Good Luck!

Reply:Wow! 18.6% is excellent! That's on the low side of a healthy body fat percentage. Congratulations!

I think you sound a lot like most women. We could be underweight and still feel fat! If I were you, I would focus more on toning up muscle than losing fat. That would probably make you feel less fat, because you'd be firmer.

I could be wrong. Just seems like you have a low % to be worried about losing fat. Everyone is different though.
