Need to lose weight fast [muscle mass] [quot]

Hello everyone,
I am a 18 year old senior in high school. With that said, the swimming season around the corner and I need help. I need to lose weight fast. Im pretty strong and high in , but above this is a low-fat. I play soccer so I train a lot and eat even more. I am 511 “and weighs about 190. My current diet and exercise consists of lifting weights three days, two days walk of about 2-3 miles per day. That can not change because I can not fit in any exercise in my scheduele got some tips to eat and / or additions to lose some fat and keep / get muscle.

In the past 2-3 weeks I have limited myself in food, but I seem to always be hungry, and only 1 pounds lost:

Breakfast: a plain bagel with cream cheese
Lunch: 8 “sub (vegetables, Bologna, cheese),
Snack: Fruit/Veggies
Dinner: Depending days. Usually I eat w / e my mom makes. Salad and fruit. (Approximately 300 calories)
Snack: Fruit / vegetable, sometimes industrial things like a cookie or two, candy.
I Gatorade drink and / or water during the day. Sometimes “Vitamin Water”

Im not taking supplements taken, although I protein and creatine in the past.

Any tips on how to improve and to minimize muscle loss weightloss / inactivity?

Sugar AND fat free Oreos? Wow! I sure could've used them month ago when I quit smoking? LOL
Are they in the diet section of the grocery store or the cookie section?


Reply:I agree with guy, your workout plan sounds great. =D

I also agree with him on the Gatoraide subject; I shall add something as well. Gatoraide has a high *sodium* content. That means, unless you're sweating a /lot/ every day you drink it, you're actually gaining weight; I'm sure you know that salt retains water. Not good.

Also, a lot of my friends have informed me that multi-vitamin pills are excellent and actually do help you.

Reply:Sounds like you're on an excellent workout plan.

I would get rid of the bagel and cream cheese and replace it with a piece of whole grain toast and some SMART spread. Also, find an alternative for the cookies and candy. I recently discovered sugar/fat free Oreos and they taste really good. From what I understand, Gatoraide has a high sugar content so I would stay away from that, too. Consuming more lean protein, fruits and veggies will make you feel full longer. Stay away from the refined carbs and processed foods.
