Pop up Blocker
Reply:I wanted to share something I've discovered. I have found something that really works. I have lost 20 pounds in a month..and it's been so easy. I've been taking the starch blockers. I got interested in them when I read the woman's day article about them and saw that these women were losing like a hundred pounds using them. I started looking in to them. Also I bought the book by Dr Steven Rosenblatt. I picked them up at walmart (the one's by the doctor who wrote the book) for about 13 dollars. I used some tricks I already knew along with them. In a week I lost 10 pounds, I know that mostly water but I don't care 10 pounds is 10 pounds, and I hate water weight anyway…I tend to stay bloated when I eat carbs, which are my downfall. I ate 6 small meals a day (another trick I learned from woman's world) keeping those meals under 300 calories. Took the starch blockers with every meal. I allowed myself one good meal every week..anything I wanted so I wouldn't get bored…and knowing I would get a reward helped. Thats it. Thats all I did. If I wanted pizza I had one piece, not 3 or 4 and took the pills. I ate a lot of lean cuisine, cereal like raisin bran or frosted mini wheats with skim milk, if I wanted taco's I would eat one. This doesn't sound like a lot but remember you can eat in just a few hours later. I ate every three hours most of the time; Basically I snacked all day long and it keeps you satisfied, and it is proven that it keeps your metabolism up eating this way. As long as you keep your meals under 300 calories, you will lose weight. And the starch blockers lower your calories from carbs and I can tell all of this kept my blood sugar steady, which is also important in losing weight. I have not craved sweets which to me is absolutely amazing. I was so surprised at the weight I lost. Its the fastest I've ever lost weight, including Atkins (which I cannot do for very long). And by the end of the one month I could tell it was fat I was losing I am much smaller. I wanted to join some kind of board to keep me on track. because I know how I am, if I ever go off it I will lose total control of things and be back where I was in no time, and I really want to get to where I want to be. I had let myself get up to 240, I am at 220 now. I am 5' 9 1/2" and would like to get down to 170 or so. I also am planning on starting a workout program. But thats another post. I know what needs to be done, I just have to do it. Well I guess thats all for now. I just thought I would share in case anyone is interested. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. Good luck to all of you.
Hi
Which starch blocker did you buy? Did it give you energy? In that month did you exercise? I need to try anything I do not want to be at 227 forever…
Good luck to you…
