Ranch dressing and others? 'S [lifting weights] [ranch dressing]

Hi,

Im 56 “170 lbs looking for 15 to 20 pounds to lose in June. I think I drop weight pretty fast or faster than most people. Usually I use one type of diet pill for energy (I loved ephedrine). Last year I went a jeans size by simply running about 10 minutes a day and cutting down on calories and only eat when Im hungry.

So now I do about 20 minutes cardio 5 times a week, plus weight lifting because I started more ugly arm fat. I am also control calories and carbohydrates to watch, but I eat wholemeal bread and some pasta or rice. Im just trying to share control. I eat once a lean cuisine that many carbs in it. But no more subs or bagels or rolls, unless the entire grain.

OK so a few questions:

I really love salads and I can eat them without much of a dressing, but I would just like French or Ranch. I use a fat-free french with only 50 calories per serving, which I think is good. However, in choosing the ranch, Im not sure what to do – what is best, low-cal ranch, fat free ranch, or because the regular periodic ranch has least amount of carbs?

And for bread, I buy the whole grain white bread, Sara Lee – is this ok? wholemeal bread is as healthy as regular wholemeal bread?

Do you think at this rate, I can drop 20 pounds by June? I know that you should eat when you diet, but I want my stomach growl late for a while before I eat . This is not my stomach shrinks, so if I stay I finally let growl to eat less because I have less space?

Thanks! any other tips would be helpful as well.

Reply:In my research in the seemingly never ending weightloss drama, regular in a moderate amounts is healthier than the fat free stuff. The regualr may have carbs, but the are considered 'good' carbs. The fat free kinds can mess up what you have going, meaning sometimes it can confuse your body and you won't burn as much fat and calories. I know it sounds odd, but it works. ;)

Reply:I don't have a dressing favorite but really like the Aunt millies light potato bread. It has 70 calories for 2 slices and is big and tasty. You may be able to reach your goal of 20 lbs but I would reach for 10-15 lbs in 8 weeks.
