Reply:Oops, I guess I should have read the posting rules, because then I would have known not to post my age. LOL

Thanks, everyone. No no one is telling me I need to lose weight, I was just curious. Most of my friends are dancers, and we all are the same height and weight. I just wanted to know what other people who wern't close friends and family thought. (because my family/friends try to sugar coat everything!) So Thanks! More replys are welcome.

Reply:I do low carb and lost quite a bit of weight and now weigh between 107 and 110. My husband said to me not to lose any more weight that I look amazing and that if I lose anymore I might look funny.

It's the media don't you realize this? The media makes people think that you must be anorexically thin to be the perfect weight. I saw a program where a model said that at her thinnest she had the most work but she was starving herself to be 96 pounds and 5'8. Now that is rediculous.

We need to stand up to these media people and make them realize that healthy is more beautiful not sickly skinny.

Be happy with yourself and enjoy life.

Reply:You sound great to me, definately do not go on a diet. As a , you need to be eating very healthy, and enough, to have the energy to get thru class and performances. I am a also, and I know that there is pressure to be thin everywhere in the dance community. Are you dealing with someone telling you that you need to lose weight? The best dancers I have seen are the ones that blow you away with their energy, and you can't do that if you aren't eating enough. Don't sacrifice your dancing when it sounds like you body looks great as it is. :)

Reply:You sound just perfect to me. Plus you dance.. muscle weighs more than fat so if your going by what some of your friends might weigh, you could weigh more but look a lot thinner. I'm 5'4&; and weigh 135lbs.. I wear a size 6.. and I look lean, but I work out and have some muscle ( my legs dont feel mushy when you squeeze them.. they are hard) but I have friends about the same height who don't exercise and weigh less, but they look pudgy and they could never fit into my pants. But I cannot imagine anyone weighing 110 thinking that they need to lose weight.

Reply:You sound just perfect. Usually, if you have to ask &;Am I overweight?&;, you're NOT.

Reply:Is there anyone out there? :( Anyone???
