Somone will workout a diet for me pls? [morn] [quo]

Hi all,

Ive got on the scales this morning and i carnt belive 17.5 stone / 111kg / 244lbs.

I weighing really need help. I know nothing about dieting (as you can probbly guess) 0.

I need a diet thats easy to follow and will help me to lose about a stone a month. (Or more? But I do not think you can lose more after reading around here)

Could someone please, please, please. Tell me the following:

What “Should” I weigh? – Im 5ft.11 “, a sort of big shoulders. Even if I lose weight, im not going to be thin i dont think)

What diet should I try? – Not the Atkins, I want somthing healthy and easy to exercise equipment follow.

What – Ive been looking into buying an elliptical trainer, they look like they can help you move all parts of your body. Can anyone advise if it is a good choice, or if theres somthing very better.

Thanks to whom this Answers.

Reply:theres a great book out in the UK called 'you are what you eat' by Gillian McKeith, maybe you could get it on amazon. its not really a diet, rather more of a complete lifestyle change that focuses on healthy eating and regular excercise. it'll provide long term, maintainable weight loss. i suggest you go for something like that rather than any 'fad' diet, which will probably only lead to dissapointment when you come off it.

i dontadvise spending money on expensive equipment like Elliptical trainers. how about getting in some excercise for free like walking, jogging, swimming, dancing, climbing up and down flights of stairs etc. that way, if you find you enjoy it and want to push yourself further then by all means spend some money, but ease yourself into it first, and see if you enjoy excercise and are getting results.

slow and steady lifestyle changes are what you want, so that you are more likely to stick to it

Reply:I am having much success with the Fat Flush Plan by Ann Louise Gittleman. For exercising, I walk outdoors or on a treadmil, and do rebounding :bouncing: on a mini-trampoline, which is good for cleaning out the lymphphatic system and getting the fat to move out, as suggested in the book. It's a lifestyle diet plan that helps you learn new eating/cooking habits that you can live with.

Give it a read and see what you think. One of my friends who lives in the UK, has lost 72lbs. She is about 5'11" and is wearing a size 8 now. She looks great. She's been on Fat Flush longer than I have, I still have a few lbs to lose.
