Ive been taking CLA for about one month, along with chromium picolinate. I have about the same food (around 1200-1500 calories per day) and exercising about the same. My weight blocked for 10 days and then suddenly I had 4 pounds a week after that: eek: (my weight is about 2 pounds per week for the stall and I have to jump). Im baffled, because I do nothing else and Im not at the point where I am retaining water (if you know what I mean: p). Could it be that the CAO kicked in?

Reply:The capsules I'm taking are 1000 mg each and the only ingredient is CLA from safflower oil. It's not "watered down" with other stuff. I say go with whatever you think is best for you (there are soooo many factors that affect each person's decision such as price, availability, etc.)

Reply:The result I was seeing was a steady loss of 2 pounds a week. Then I stalled for 10 days at the same weight, and then lost 4 pounds the following week (which was twice my normal loss). I wasn't doing anything different, so I figured the CLA gave me an extra boost all of a sudden.

I'm taking one capsule with every meal and one before bed. The bottle is blue and white (with some red ink thrown in) and it's usually grouped with the "Total Lean" line on the shelves at GNC.

Reply:You probably just hit a plateau, but since you remained consistent in eating and exercising, your body worked through it and you saw weight loss again. The 4 pounds in that week were the result of healthy eating in those previous few weeks. I don't know much about CLA, maybe it's effective, but I'd probably credit your diet and exercise plan more than any pills!

Hello, recently was prescribed
I phentermine 37.5 mg on a weight loss clinic. The doctor also gave me the thyroid T-3 and chromium picolinate. Is it safe to take all three of these together? Do you want to take any amount of the recommended daily dose go?

If your Dr. prescribed them they should be safe to take together. Depending on how your body reacts to them, is the question. You can always take the phentermine in the am as suggested the T-3 at lunch and CP at night. Switch them up and see how they work together or at different times. Good Luck!
