Those of you phentermine . [underactive thyroid] [phentermine]
Are you also one of Phentermine medication for an underactive thyroid? If so, how do you separate the time between taking your medication and phentermine?
I wish I could do this but my doctor is strongly against. But Ive heard from others on the thyroid medication with phentermine and doing well.
Reply:I have a very good and thorough Dr. He said I could take the Phentermine and he said this when he was prescribing me Synthroid 50mcg. He said whatever it took to help with the energy and weight gain? Hope this helps? BTW, I take my Synthroid about 2 hours before the Phentermine.

I am interested in knowing why armour is better than synthroid though. I've heard that from many people. Anyone know how it fares in terms of cost? My synthroid prescription is only like $14 so I'm happy with that.
Reply:I too take Phentermine and Synthroid. Since when does Synthroid cause weight gain? I have been on it for 2 months, and lost 10 additional pounds on top of the 25 I already lost. I excersise and do weight watchers. I wasn't aware that there was a problem taking these two meds together. I was told by my doc that it was perfectly fine. Any additional feedback is appreciated.
Reply:The first thing you should do is to ask your doctor to take you off Synthroid and give you prescription on Armor. Armor is natural form of thyroid replacement therapy available only by prescription and does not give you the side effects of Synthroid like weight gain or the jittery feeling sometimes. Also, Armor is much more friendly when taken with any other medication and herbs including medication like phentermine. Search for Armor on google.

Reply:I take Phentermine and Synthroid .150 for underactive thyroid. I take them 45 minutes apart and haven't had any problems so far.
