Today was my first month weigh in. . Yeah for me! [low fat] [atkins]
I had to share . As of today, 04/09/2006 I have been on a diet, low fat for 2 weeks, then atkins for another two weeks. I weigh myself today and I lost: 21 1 / 2 pounds! Yeah for me!
I know that half is rather stupid, I never weighed in at half, but thats what the scale said. Just wanted to share my good news. Good Luck to everyone!
Reply:Any time you do low carb, you're going to drop weight quickly. Last time I tried that kind of plan, which was earlier this year, I dropped 10 pounds in 10 days. I was unable to keep it up because it's just a really difficult plan for me to follow for any extended period of time. Be careful not to continue to lose at that rate and be really careful about adding those carbs back in. Do it slowly or at least half of those pounds will be back on in a wink!

but isn't 21 1/2 pounds in 4 weeks a little to much to soon? thats an average of 5 lbs a week…maybe its not?…just becareful.
