Weight Loss u0026 alcohol? [smirnoff ice] [diesel jeans]
I know that alcohol is not healthy especially when you are on a diet, but I want votka drink, when Im already shootera out.
I ona diet about two months (due to Zoloft am, I was always slim and thin, so I wanted to be thin again, and again after Zoloft wear my Diesel jeans) and I last month lose pounds very fast but I drink for a weekend and ocassionaly Smirnoff Ice or breezer.
Despite of me losing weight! I always like to drink and never arrived, when I sneeze, I drank a skin lot.
I do not know how and why? If there are so many calories in alcohol how come they do not affect my weight?
Are they different? Of course, when I am out all night, and dancing, so I got them too .

Reply:Well you probably aren't drinking every night. So let's say you drink a lot and end up with an extra 1000 calories on Saturday nights…that's less than 1/3 of a pound. So if you the rest of the week, you're eating correctly and working out, then the 1000 calories ends up getting used up because the body can adjust when it occasionally gets too many or too few calories. If you do it all the time, that's when you will see weight gain.
Alcohol is bad for a diet for several reasons.
1. When alcohol is in the system, the liver views it as a toxin and tries to get rid of it first instead of fat. If you drink all the time, you're liver is unable to retain nutrients or burn fat properly. (That's what causes cirrhosis which is when the fat accumulates on the liver. However this is a concern if you drink all the time, occasionally won't hurt you much.
2. When you drink, your inhibitions are lowered. You're more likely to make bad diet decisions when you drink so this means getting even more calories in your body. If this happens once a week, again it's not such a big deal as long as you return to healthy habits. But 2-3 times every week will probably start to show and I think anything more than that would really affect you!
