Reply:Ephedra is not good! Not by any means, unless directed by the doctor for some reason!!!

I heard it can actually kill you. Plus I heard some weight loss pills are addicting so be careful!

You should really stop posting if you are going to spread around disinformation like this. Ephedra is an awesome and proven supp to help in weight loss.

It only kills when idiots who cant follow directions take far more than recommended doses. It should have never been banned to begin with and thankfully it has now been unbanned. It is a powerful stimulent and needs to be taken as directed. You dont take it then get buried 6 feet under hours later like the fear mongers want you to believe…

As for weight loss pills being addicting, I'm sure there have been isolating cases where this has been true in the past from shady companies. The ones from reputable companies now are not addicting.

Cliffs: Dont post if you dont know what you are talking about, this forum is to help people not scare them on what you heard from DATELINE thursday with 0 scientific proof.

Reply:Hello all–

I read your posts and a light went off in my head. I also have PCOS, but never knew much about it. They told me 10 yrs ago, no kids–won't happen. I actually found out the diagnosis by accident (the stupid DR never told me). Well, here I am trying to lose weight–tried the Zantrex-3 but got shaky if I took more than 1 pill per day. Now I have the Stacker2 but haven't really tried it yet. Concerned that it may give me the shakes too. I never put the PCOS and problems losing weight together. I am down 12 lbs since April, but have hit a plateau or hard spot. All I want to do is eat and sleep…no energy. I am taking daily vitamins too. For those of you with PCOS, does this sound familiar? What can we do?
Thanks–Scorpiomom

Reply:Thanks, Xena. I actually don't have any caffeine
when I take Zantrex. I am a water person, and at
most have a mocha once a week before I took Zantrex.
Maybe my body is just not used to caffeine. I will
try again today taking just 1 pill before lunch and
see what happens. I really hope my body can handle
it.

Are you experiencing any weight loss yet?

Reply:Hello! :)

Today i tried my very first ephedrine diet pill…stacker2. so far i haven't had any side effects. Many people say that after you take ephedrine pills your body gets hotter, and your heartbeat becomes faster, or you have headache… but nothing happened to me. guess my body is really strong i also did some excersizes. i really hope this works…but this is only day 1 so we'll see!

Sorry I don't know anything about PCOS and weight loss pills but if you are going to take any i think it's better if you ask your doctor..

Good Luck!! ;)

Reply:Hiya Ffion,

I've been on Zantrex the past couple of days with no side effects, but I've only been taking one pill a day.
Please make sure you don't have ANYTHING with caffeine in it. I drank caffeine-containing beverages with guy, sickness and headache for three days! But I took it for a couple of weeks recently and had no adverse side effects once I'd cut out all the caffeine.
Go back on one pill a day without any caffeine and if it still makes you feel bad, I just wouldn't take it.

Reply:Hi,

I also have PCOS, infertility and weight problem.
I started Zantrex a few days ago, and I was sick,
tired, with heart rate increased quite a bit. I
stopped after 3 days and taking a break for the
weekend. I also only took 2 (1 before breakfast and
1 before lunch) the first 2 days, and only 1 the 3rd
day, which is well below the recommended dosage.

Having said that, I've read a lot of success stories
on them, so I will probably try again after the
weekend and see if my body can get used to it. It's
so unfair to have all these other issues and then
can't take a diet pill that helped others. :(

Good luck with you!
